Shopware experience you can verify publicly.

Before working independently, I was a developer on Shopware’s Core team. My public contributions cover more than one isolated part of the platform: administration workflows, orders, documents, mail templates, media, storefront behavior, scheduled tasks, SEO, tracking, and platform stability.

That background is supported by more than six years of Shopware experience, more than ten years of PHP experience, and Shopware 6 Advanced Developer, Solutions Specialist, PaaS Specialist, and Frontend Developer certifications. For clients, this means requirements are assessed in the context of the platform rather than treated as disconnected coding tickets.

  • Public Shopware Core contributions with a traceable commit history.
  • Experience across Shopware 6, Symfony, DAL, storefront, administration, APIs, checkout, and background processing.
  • Shopware plugins and apps developed from practical requirements in existing stores.
  • Technical work spanning analysis and architecture through testing, deployment, and handover.

Practical support for existing Shopware 6 stores.

Many requests do not begin as complete development specifications. A checkout may be unstable, an update may be blocked, a queue may stop processing, or a custom extension may need to be taken over. I first narrow down the technical cause and the affected business flow. We can then decide whether the right next step is a focused fix, a review, an update project, or ongoing care.

I am particularly comfortable working with stores that are already live and where changes need to be controlled. Existing custom code, active extensions, integrations, hosting, deployment, and rollback options are therefore part of the assessment.

  • Plugin and app development for custom business logic, storefronts, administration, and integrations.
  • Production debugging across checkout, payment, shipping, orders, email, queues, indexing, and scheduled tasks.
  • Shopware updates with Composer, custom code, extension, staging, and rollback checks.
  • Technical reviews, performance analysis, agency handovers, and ongoing Shopware care.

Remote collaboration with teams in Germany and Europe.

I work remotely from Vietnam with Shopware merchants and German agencies. The time difference can be useful for focused technical work before the German business day begins, while shared time windows are agreed for discussion and decisions. Progress, open questions, and risks are recorded in writing so delivery does not depend on spontaneous meetings.

Direct technical communication is in English. German-language project content and written communication are available. Before work begins, we clarify the repository, tickets, access, staging, deployment responsibility, sensitive data boundaries, and the preferred communication channel.

  • A single project with a defined outcome and acceptance criteria.
  • Hourly support for debugging, reviews, or smaller implementation tasks.
  • Agency overflow as additional Shopware capacity inside an existing delivery process.
  • Ongoing care for live stores after launch or an agency handover.

Selected Shopware work and technical evidence.

Public work is more useful than a generic list of technologies. The examples below show Core experience, maintained extensions, and practical technical writing. Confidential client projects and production data are not repurposed as marketing material.

FAQ

Shopware Freelancer

Shopware freelancer with Core experience for merchants and agencies: plugins, updates, production debugging, reviews, and ongoing Shopware support.

Can I hire you as a Shopware freelancer for a single project?

Yes. I take on clearly scoped audits, debugging, updates, plugin and app development, integrations, and implementation tasks. Before work begins, we agree on the outcome, access, responsibilities, timeline, and acceptance criteria.

Do you work with Shopware agencies in Germany and Europe?

Yes. I support agency teams with overflow development, difficult production issues, plugin and app work, updates, code reviews, and technical implementation inside their existing delivery process.

Can you take over an existing Shopware store?

Yes. I normally begin with a technical review covering the Shopware version, custom code, active plugins and apps, integrations, hosting, deployment, backups, and the most important risks before ongoing work starts.

How does collaboration from Vietnam work?

We agree on shared working windows for discussions and decisions. Some focused work can happen before the European business day begins. Progress, questions, decisions, and risks are documented in writing.

Which language do you use for communication?

Direct technical communication is in English. German-language project content and written communication are available. Important requirements and acceptance criteria are documented clearly for both sides.

Do you work hourly or at a fixed price?

Both are possible. Debugging, reviews, and ongoing support are usually handled hourly or within an agreed support framework. A fixed price can be proposed for a clearly defined outcome after a short technical review.

Can you provide immediate 24/7 support?

No. Availability, response expectations, and production responsibility must be agreed before work begins. For an urgent but contained problem, a focused debugging engagement is often more appropriate than an undefined 24/7 support scope.
